Good Morning!
I received the android 12 update on my zenfone 8, apparently everything is stable, I didn't notice any bugs or other problems, I thank the asus team for the effort.
The only point I've noticed so far, was a slight nerf on the Multi Core of the device, on android 11 with the geekbenchmark, it scores 3640 on the multi core, on the A12, I don't see it coming out of the 3300. Both tests were made with the "high performance" profile. With an optimization, I believe you will be able to resolve this issue in a quick time.

Yeah I've noticed the same thing. Is zenfone 8 throttled currently with this Android 12 release?

Can we use this thread as feedback for recently release Android 12 for Zenfone 8 so we can report back experience using it in one thread?
Ok, so 24 hours for me as Android 12. All apps are working perfectly, all menus and functions working properly. Didn't noticed any bug for now, except a little stutter like a slight delay on Samsung browser at 90Hz, but only on pages with a lot of text. It's kind of annoying, like not responsive as in Android 11. Battery seem OK, didn't noticed any difference, not in worse or better.
I'm facing horizontal view black corner and dot issue during YouTube playback :( something like on the screenshot but on horizontal view.

I have this bug. Plus when i'm rearranging the tiles in notification bar after that the background is transparent. Closing and pulling it down again- the background is normal.
Tremendous battery drain from 100 to 51%, only 49 mins SoT and 37 mins voice calls, Android OS killing it:

I always have my screen as the most draining battery. 🤔
You have some updates pending or something?
I've checked and all of my adjustments, related to battery optimisations and background data consumption were changed by itself.
I've tuned the phone again. I will observe the next few days.
Ive found battery life to be slightly better than Android 11.
One more bug often happens to me, can't simulate it:

Well... How i see the picture: the moderators in this
forum, the developers, Asus, and the most important- the users of the ZenFone 8 has gone far away from this phone.
This is an epic fail. I will use my ZF8 until it die, or atleast a new compact flagship appears.
In my future choises, Asus is no go for me and i am pretty sure that i am not alone.
Did you try factory reset?
I'm having similar issues with System UI not responding. It's annoying.
Happens after full screen video rotated.
Mine also most of time after watching fullscreen video
