Detailed description:

When Pixel Shift is enabled in ASUS OLED Care settings (in MyASUS app), the desktop background mode continuously reverts to slideshow mode. On the "Themes" tab in Windows settings, it will show slideshow regardless of the mode chosen on the "Background" tab. If a solid color background is selected, it will automatically switch to an image within minutes. It took me a great deal of painstaking troubleshooting to identify that Pixel Shift was causing this issue.

Comments

  • Hi there,

Can I have a video of the issue?

And does this happen after certain update?

    Thank you.

  • I'm not inclined to make a video for something that is easily reproducible. If you can't reproduce it, let me know. It's been happening for at least several months. I don't know when it started.

  • Hi Stephen,

We have not received any other similar feedback, and we can be more accurate if there is a video and it communicates better than your words.

    Please kindly support.

    Thank you.

  • My words are very clear. It would take me a great deal of time and effort to make a video capturing this behavior which I explained very clearly. So, no.

  • How about also NOT CLOSING these issues, so that if someone later does find this issue, they can add their comments/experience.
