VoLTE and Wifi Calling on Zenfone 8

Hi all,
Does anyone know if we can expect enabling VoLTE and Wifi Calling in european networks? I can only see in settings that icons for these options are available to enable at notification bar:


Also as call quality is quite poor, can we expect some improvement with software updates as enabling HD Voice codecs?

Carrier: Altan
Country: Mexico
Or advice what should I do?
I am currently using a 3rd party app(VozApp) to make and receive calls.

Yup, i have changed network to T-Mobile PL. Everything works perfect 🙂

I have t-mobile network too. Wi-Fi calling don't work perfect. When I call with wifi calling, don't hear me!

It happened also for me once or twice but generally it works good 🙂

Hi @CH_ASUS

For Orange FR, VoLTE was activated "out of the box", and then it deactivated itself.

I called 2 times customer service, they reactivated it 2 times... but VoLTE deactivated itself soon after.

For now, Zenfone 8 is still unlisted on this official mobile list :

No VoLTE with Zenfone 8 on Orange FR network.

We had similar problem with Orange in Poland. They enabled VoLTE / VoWIFI around June/July and then disabled it like 3 months later. Have not seen any updates since then. They blamed Orange.
