the phone just died on me

Was using the phone the regular way, the screen turned black, without any warning and the phone just never strated again, tried holding power button or any vol plus power combo, tried charging, and it seems dead dead
It's a real bummer, I really like the phone. And I can't believe it died on me
What do I do from here? Contact the reseller?

Replace your motherboard
It is the logical step but the phone is only 4 months old so it should not be happening

Send it back if you can. I don't really think smartphones like to be opened these days. Every experience I have had with repair or even battery replacement, and they are never quite the same again
But it is not the same issue, they were having ramdump and I had it die on me, today I will try to go to the importer and try to fix it with warranty, but tbh I hope they just replace the phone, bcz as they said in an Israeli review 4.5 hours sot is dog water. So imma tell them that
Replacement of the motherboard - nobody likes it, but this is the feature of this smartphone. You lost all data (except those in the cloud). This is a common problem and there is no way to separate it from the ramdoump problem (the repair process is the same)
Welp, there was a sign of life, when I plugged it into the power bank the led blinked red
I hope Asus has good replacement motherboards bcz when the warranty will end I don't want to get stuck with a brick
replacement of the motherboard with a new one = new warranty for the motherboard :)
Not everyone knows about it.
Alright, hope that the new one will live for forever or less than a year
I remember the "good old times" with zenfone 2, motherboard was replaced two times under warranty.
I thought it was because of intel cpus, intel even closed their mobile cpu department soon after that problem.
But looks like it's good asus tradition. ZF7 has a place on screen where fingerprint sensor should be placed, it's seen under bright sun as black transparent sqaure. No 3.5 jack because they didn't find supplier in time.
ZF8 dies from ramdump frequently.
Rog 5 can be easily divided in two parts.
And these are just hardware problems.
Welp, Asus should do a recall program
Welp, gave it to a repair center and they told me they might charge me 25$ for a diagnostic if my phone is water damaged
Wait...isn't this device kind of IP 68 certified, that means waterproof?? What the f... are those dudes talking about??
I really don't know, it's ain't Asus it's aSUS Israel we will see how it would turn out I will update
IP68 does not mean waterproof, it means water resistant......
"Devices backed by an international standard rating of IP68 are deemed fit enough to withstand dust, dirt and sand, and are resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5m underwater for up to thirty minutes. *Based on test conditions for submersion in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes"

Idk, I am waiting for the repair tracking number
The same thing happened to me this morning. My ZF8 just died as I was reading my emails. And it is not responding to anything.
Mine died yesterday as well!
