My SMMI test headphones mic test passed of course because all other app works.
Haha, what an idea to use google apps
when there is one that is not working, it is from another google app 🤣
it would be too easy to troubleshoot otherwise 🙄
Unauthorized mic problem in browser for sure, try the following 😎

What's the purpose to change your language in the middle of your post?
Just asking because I see this frequently here and I have absolutely no idea why people think that's useful besides trolling others.
@Gouen Do you have the chance to try a different microphone?
Simply because I slept 3 hours and I'm in the fog
Yes I have a cable for IEM with a microphone ending with a combo headphone 3.5mm jack and an Apple earpods. I verified both is working on my laptop and both are working with other apps. And previously version .151 WW, Google Meet is working fine with 3.5mm mic.
I appreciate your comment and provided solution but the solution seemed to be targeting PC.
Yes I understand there's a lot of alternative meeting solutions out there but I have a job and I'm working in a company where majority of the staffs voted to use Google mail/meet as our service provider.
None the less, I'm looking for a solution/explanation for ROG Phone 5 Google Meet mic issue.
Haha, I know too well, the boss wants free applications, that it works and without paying the professional version, like Google Workspace which includes Meet and support :)
For the resolution of the audio problem, it's pretty much the same for any operating system to which you need to add permissions on Android.
Here is a more precise link, I didn't need it (see the tests below)
https://www.alphr.com/google-meet-microphone-not-working/
My firmware is .176
I just tested a Meet meeting from Gmail, after giving the requested permissions the audio works with all my microphones, (Internal rog5, Jack 3.5 and Bleutooth.)
-Note: I don't have the standalone Google Meet app, just Gmail (Meet bottom right) in Gmail.
It duplicates Gmail, tries to uninstall it.
Check Google Store Updates
