That was from ROG 2 and I haven't personally faced the issue nor I have ROG 3.
If the same problem happens to other browsers other than Chrome, then yeah, it could be a firmware update that's the issue. If Chrome only, then it suggest specifically to Chrome update and not the firmware itself.
No idea how Netflix fits into all of this though but I guess it is a start.
Its a software flickering caused by latest update and also will not be fixed by factory reset coz its in kernel itself , can only be fixed my an update
And dont worry its happening to everyone of us

Assuming you are running everything default in chrome flags and developer options
Just search for anything like how to install drivers for xyz item-
In All category , you will see both youtube links and website links , as you scroll youtube video will start showing previews and as soon as preview starts screen will flicker and it more lf a colour scenerio than flickering and as soon as you scroll down from video , flicker will happen again
Well , i tried my best to explain it to you and if you still cant see it than let me know
Do like this , you see that preview started when i scrolled to it there flicker will occure and it will occur again like when i scrolled down and that video gone

For Chrome, have you tested the fix provided by Ronald?
By the way, can you double-check your Widevine status? @Pervage @jaykesharwani9 and anyone else facing flickering issues in Netflix.

No , i was just helping you pointing out the issue , other than that , i dont care much about chrome becoz i dont play videos on that
Though idk if anyone complaint in a long time here so ill tell you one think that HDR is full of crap , just play any hdr video on YouTube or Netflix or amazon prime or vlc player and you will see a yellow tint overlay which destroys the colours that are meant to be displayed
Also brightness seems to be very low in hdr content which if i remember correctly has to be exactly opposite of that , as brightness should be more than usual to have a proper hdr content , idk if i m having placebo effects but i noticed that so i thought of pointing it out
This has happened twice now in A10 it reverted back to l3 and now in A11 it's l3 again.

I wish I had a phone which supports connection of hard drive and usb and also doesn't have color banding or widevine issue.
Asus is giving great user experience.

If the above steps does not work, please wait for the next FOTA and check your Widevine status after you've updated your device.

Only had 1 problem which is also fixed
Better battery life , almost 0% overnight battery drain in 8 hours mean so much battery standby times , better performance with lesser frametimes , UI optimised at a level where 60hz feels almost as good as 90hz in A10 , less bloatware with latest security patch and the list goes on
As i told you earlier , do what you want but atleast keep you utterly useless advices or talks with yourself, all you sound like is "BS"
If you have something good advice or help for others having issues than its good but no one needs this
A10 cant be good as A11 , its a fact

The problem I've reported some time ago is still present. Maybe it's time to re-open it as it's unfortunate that hasn't got much love
