Wifi & Wifi-Hotspot Not Working

Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
Model Name: ASUS Rog Phone 5
Firmware Version: Android 11 (18.0840.2106.86)
Rooted or not: Not Rooted
Frequency of Occurrence: All the time

So my wifi & wifi-hotspot suddenly stopped working. They won't turn on at all (the hotspot says Error when I try turning it on from this screen). I tried booting into safe mode (doesn't work there also). Tried restarting it several times. Not sure what to do anymore. I don't wanna lose data so if you know how to fix this, Let me know.

No, u wont be getting. Replace your motherboard. You are one of the many users who got defective motherboard. Already there is lot of waiting involed to get the replacement done. Mine started with wifi/hotspot not working. Later it got stuck in a flash redampt screen and later died on the sameday. My advice in not to wait long, just get the motherboard replaced before its too late.

in another post you say that the device is one month old, you bought it in september ?, from a certified / authorized Asus reseller in your country?

The Wifi/Hotspot issue has been a problem with the past few updates, it is not isolated to the most recent FW release. At this point Asus knows there is a problem. If it was FW related, it would make ZERO sense for them to keep releasing FW without first correcting the software issue.
That being said, stop wasting your time if your wifi/hotspot has failed. File a claim, the longer you wait and hope for a fix, the longer you wait for a repair.
Hopefully I am wrong here, but after consecutive updates devices are still failing.
