I also can't turn on my wifi or hotspot from today morning on rog 5. I don't know what happend please try to fix it must be a software bug .fix it ASAP asus

Not yet. Even after escalating to Twitter multiple times and mentioned MD Dinesh Sharma, no body cares to have a look. Worst and pathetic experience after purchasing flagship device. Motherboard replacement is not a solution, it's just a workaround. Many users reported, after motherboard replacement, bug hits the wifi drivers again and you have to go for motherboard replacement again.
It seems to be issue with with Asus Chip fabrication unit. You have to replace motherboard every time when wifi drivers can't be loaded.
Asus have released ROG Phone 5 with faulty hardware and it's coming from Chip fabrication unit. It stop loading wifi drivers into system and multiple user even tried to replace motherboard but it's just a workaround. After few days wifi stopped working again then again you have to go motherboard replacement. With this trick of motherhood replacement you are good to run this faulty product for 1 year until waranty expires and then throw out to garbage. I have escalated this issue to Asus India and Dinesh Sharma over Twitter multiple times but it seems they are busy with printing money by selling this faulty product to more and more users and then go for long struggle and no after sales service or even a single press release to admit this issue.
Even all moderators from Asus side are silent in this forum because Asus management has put money in their mouth to not provide any solution or even admit the existence on this issue. Good Luck all Asus moderators, soon you don't require to be here if users won't exist.

they dont care and they donot even read.this arp asus guy took my device logs n then after a couple of days he asked what my issue was,n here we hv created such a big post ,everyone having the same problem ,but they dont read.they had created a market for themselves,i was looking fwd to buy the next rog 6 ,even was looking at rog laptops but now never again.0 customer support.they dont hv the decency to accept n let us know.due to their fault will hv to use a repaired phone within 2 months of purchase ,not to mention the mental agony it has caused us.

Well said. Let's run a campaign against all these. I did multiple tweets and mentioned Asus India, Asus, Dinesh Sharma, Asus ROG India, Asus ROG but it seems they just know only one reply like robot "we have forwarded the issue to concerned team"
Don't know who this concerned team is and I think they only concerned to make money by selling these faulty products. They don't have courtesy to accept even after more than 100 of users complained about same issue.
Hi Gustav_Asus, it's been more than 5 days when you started looking this issue. Do you have courtesy to accept it's Asus Fault or still blame 100 of users who made a mistake to trust Asus to purchase their flagship device.
Just checking- those of who you are using twitter to report these issue, why don't you all tag the Consumer Court of India on your posts when the concerned people are not even looking at your posts.. bigger the reach, more people would be knowing the issue. I don't have a twitter account, or I'd be the first one to do so. Because ASUS won't own up. They'll just make us go behind them without any solution.

I have checked the tweets which are tagged with consumer court of india. But I think nobody is responding from that account to the complainants
As per my knowledge, they are rolling out the new firmware update for only a batch of serial numbers at once. So, we are gonna have to see many more users commenting here about the issue.
