High RAM usage after A11 update

Hi guys after a11 update i am niticing high level of ram usage evn though i deep cleared all runing apps
In A10 it was around 3.5GB avg usage whn no apps were runing...but in A11 its 4.2GB used when no aps runing...
I have reseted phone..still same...optflex is turned off
Is all good here??

Same happening to me, even though I disabled many apps in the Auto-start manager, I'm still getting up to 8GB of ram usage and that wasn't happening on A10. How I noticed that, is because my phone gets suddenly hot with normal usage. I also noticed screen lags even on 144Hz, so i don't know if that's caused by high ram usage or just different software bug

Are u using 12gb ram variant?
I m using 12gb variant and i m also getting around 6 gb to use
If you are getting around 50% more and less ram free when everything is closed than its normal
Remember- Free ram = useless ram , anyway so until you are having problem free gaming experience and user experience till than dont worry about ram management its good enough already
That happened with the zenfone 7 update to A11 as well but it got sorted in an update so just wait a while and it will probably be tweeked as well
yes i am, but i think how much ram you have is not related to this problem.
are you saying it is normal for the system to use around 6/12 gigs or 4/8 gigs without any apps in the background?
NO it is not
I did a quick search and it seems the RAM usage for Android 11 is higher than Android 10, though my system usage is 3.3gb, am not sure what is the standard average RAM usage to indicate whether it is high or low. Anyone else can verify the increased RAM usage for Android 11 in case they have a Pixel, OnePlus, etc?
Yes it is , 3.5-4gb out of 8 is normal
