In DRM info app on Asus 6z show Wide Colour Gamut not supported but specs says it is DCI-P3 screen where as on Redmi k20 pro app shows wide colour gamut supported.
I have wide color gamut enabled on my device right now. In Settings>Display>Splendid you can select your screen color. I believe it defaults to wide color gamut, with options to choose either Standard or Customized.
Wide color gamut is most definitely supported on ZenFone 6.
I would assume that's something the developer for that app should look into maybe the devices hasn't been full supported with that app it is a new phone the Zenfone 6
I honestly have no idea why you're not seeing Wide Color Gamut. It should work if you have set your colors to either Customized or Wide color gamut. It could be that you have some other app that's interfering with the colors.

Yes it is there but why DRM info app showing it as not supported? Do other 3rd party apps also see asus 6z as non wide colour gamut phone?

Maybe but k20 pro released after Zenfone 6
Zenfone 5z supports both wide dolor gamut and HDR (has 95% dci-p3 color gamut
Zenfone 6 has a HDR 10 capable panel
And has 100% Dci-p3 color gamut
Probably some issue with that particular app
This is the apps developer response.
U hv to enable wide color mode from display setting.
For me its not working.
Please share you setting.
