Fingerprint scanner visible when in sunlight

Frequency of Occurrence: Whenever I am in sunlight

When I am using my phone in daylight I can very clearly see the fingerprint scanner on the screen.
It doesn't impact the functionality of any application that may be open, but it detracts from the experience, especially when playing games.
Is there a known fix or setting for this that I don't know about?

Seems to be normal behaviour? I've never had a phone with an in-built finger scanner so I wasn't sure.

You can see in his images what I mean. The square is visible on the display. It's not something that I believe would appear in a screenshot.

That's normal for phone with in display fingerscanner
It won't visible if you use matte tempered glass or hydrogel
