I mean I don't think I need to say anything. Chrome's literally drained half my battery

Cant delete google chrome

Try to disable Google Chrome. Clear cache, clear data, uninstall updates, force stop & then disable in this order.
You can always try to use a downgraded version of chrome to see if that helps.
Alternatively, if the battery drain persists even after disabling, simply uninstall chrome via ADB

I mean what's the point of buying a flagship and not being able to use a basic app like Chrome. I don't want to switch to some other browser .

Chrome seems to be working fine for everyone else. Maybe it's an app that's causing the issue with chrome. I've never had issues with chrome

What I think Is it's a glitch because even if I disable chrome and use other apps for instance YouTube then the chrome drain keeps increasing.

Chrome and android system webview performs very weird at times (googled patches the excessive battery usage bug a couple of times)
Check if your chrome and webview are the latest versions
