Hi, I bought rog 5 couple days ago....and noticed when using whatsapp/fb/insta front camera the camera smoothens out the face so hardly it looks like oil painting please fix this issue .when using back cam in the same app this is not happening only on front cam it beautifies so hardly

Its not about the quality.....look at the pic I attached....it looks like a oil painting filter has been used...I am telling about that...if the picture has more noise and has darker output it's quality..how come it shows like a oil painting...that's why I asked asus for clarity

its not a filter, its noise reduction. The noise reduction algorythm is extremely poor on 3rd party apps.
Also the phones you mentioned still all have bad camera lenses hence rather mediocre quality. Go outside and take selfies again, ull see the "oil painting" effect is then completely gone.
