Cell Standby battery drain

Hi,
i'm experiencing seriuos issue about battery, it's being constantly drained by cell standby with abnormal values. It's actually draining more than the display, that's unacceptable.
Can you please provide a fix/solution ?
Zenfone 8 - hardware and software details attached.

So mine just used 2.7% in 56 mins for mobile network standby. I have set it to 2g/3g only before taking it off the charger. Not sure what is happening to be honest.

It can be an app, pulling data or pinging because it has internet (that would happen on wifi also) but we cant rule out some bug or network related issue.

Overnight, if you are able to, can you try turn on airplane mode for the Zenfone 8?
Take a screenshot when you enable airplane mode.
Take a screenshot when you look at your phone again in the morning.
(this is to note the time of sleep and start).

I think after this, we should try and log your device if you would like to help with that - we'll do that through PM.

Also I think I found the cause in my case. I disabled the "adaptive battery" and background app management and this is the usage now:

This is MUCH better. If you would like to debug this I would be glad to. Now I regret turning this on 5-6 days ago. I just couldn't correlate mobile network standby drain with these two things. They are supposed to prevent drain.

Been struggling with cell standby battery drain since day 1, i'm my case i found that scheduled power saving was one of the causes. I'm also going to try your suggestion and see if it works for me too, i'll keep you posted.

I also have the same problem and for now, the suggested solutions don't work. I'm gonna try resetting the phone, but i doubt it will be any better.
I come from Sony 5 ii, with the same battery, and with the same usage I would be at 65-70% at the end of the day. With the Asus I am at 30%, which is ridiculous...
