Even RED MAGIC upgraded to Android 11!

Nubia doesn't upgrade any of their devices to the latest os either. Your stuck with the one it launches with. Maybe 2 updates and that's it. Well they got Android 11 and our beloved rog phone 2 has not. Never would have placed a bet on this reality. Like everyone else can anyone tell us if we are or are not getting Android 11? I mean someone at asus absolutely has the answer, so why not let us know one way or the other?

They can't say No otherwise there sales will dip by well almost a lot.
Mods response "Android 11 is under evaluation for ROG 2 but there is no ETA" is basically a Nice way of saying no because if something is under evaluation within a company always have a timeline.
2-3 months later they will say that ROG 2 has been kicked out of regular update policy so it is no longer eligible for android 11.
Basically, The answer is no in a nutshell.
We are not getting android 11 whatsoever. At this point just don't buy Asus from next time if you want latest software from time to time.
This will be my first and last Asus device. Period
Their firmware site shows that their last update was in June,2020
Where did you read that It got stable A11 btw?
Last updated: 06/01/2020
Under Red magic 3 firmware
Come on man you know the red magic/mars/3/s have long been forgotten by nubia. I was referring to the 5G
Ah RM5 but then then that's an 2020 device comparable to the rog 3
Red magic 3/s is comparable to rog 2 (both are 2019 devices)
RM 3 is dead on 2020 April patch tho with no plans for a11 let alone bug fixes and patches
How do you figure? We're still getting updates for the rog 2. Tho not Android 11. Which i honestly don't even want if it's going to kill battery life as bad as it has with my oneplus 7t pro mclaren 5G edition. Literally cut battery life in half
I know about Rog 2 still getting updates if I recall correctly it recently got May 2021 patch with a few bug fixes
Was referring to Red magic (RM3) and that it's last update was in June 2020
And seems like an optimisation issue on your OnePlus it was widely reported that OnePlus had an very buggy android 11 rollout maybe their software messed up your battery
If R2 gets A11 or not we'll see
When ROG 2 launched at the same time
OnePlus 7T also launched in india
Both prices are almost similar
Now OnePlus 7T updated to Android 11 Stable
And here we are with Android 10😂
Also OnePlus 7T gives almost 85-90fps in PUBG Mobile
And Mine Rog2 With Extreme Performance tuning 😂
Everything maxed in Armoury crate even
I formatted my device just installed one single app i.e PUBG mobile
Gives 70-75fps 😂
Its Same to be called a gaming phone
OnePlus didn't sell their device as called gaming phones still that outperform our ROG
I Personally feel their OXYGEN OS is so much optimised that's why they are best ROM in Android 🤗
I personally buy this phone for playing competitive but
In competitive rooms
My fps drops to 40🥺
90fps - 40fps
In AC room
If i record then my phone will be long dead😂
I had no issues in performance for 1 year
But after an year
My phone performance is like
15k phones 😂
Hate to burst your bubble, but going to Android 11 doesn't give you better FPS.
For Pixel Devices, Android 11 gave performance hit.
If anything Android 12 should be the one you'd want for better performance. As that is one of the things they're working on. Battery life and less CPU usage by the OS.
I very much doubt your oneplus 85-90 fps claim even 888 phones will struggle with that let alone a oneplus 855 phone which throttles a lot by default
And like it or oxygen os is trash and now they're merging completely with oppo
Their ram management has always been terrible
And android 11 for 7 series is still broken just read about that on Google you'll see a lot of results or yt videos how terrible a11 update for them was
Then make Rog UI better to get more fps 😂
I only care about fps
Above i just put some facts
About software updates
It has nothing to do with ROG UI.
I gotta tell you bud... UI also plays a huge role in performance.
If you don't believe me... Just search for sony xperia 1 III vs s21+ ultra performance difference. Both are running sd888.

"going to Android 11 doesn't give you better FPS."
Also android 11 doesn't mean performance reduction. I mean companies screw up OS optimization so well which mimics well poor performance; but if someone gets it stable enough, it's a performance improvement always when compared to its previous version.
Of course a phone with hardly any bloatware but with just the essentials will always run better. No doubt and I have saying this, any unnecessary additions to the phone is just using up valuable resource.
My little test shows that it isn't the ROG UI. My phone does 90 dropping to 88 FPS. But Atul who now changed his name to something else claims it dropping to 40.
