========================
This touchpad is a wreck, I looked in Device manager/Human Interface Devices and all the drivers are from MS. MS uses some of the worst drivers around especially when it comes to touchpads so I upgraded the HID-compliant touch pad from MS to the ASUS_Touchpad_Precision TouchPad_DCH that I loaded from the ASUS driver page for my model. I did the, have disk option and pointed to ASUS_Touchpad_Precision TouchPad_DCH/touchpad/x64/AsusPTPFilter.inf file. It loaded then restarted came back up with the cursor but the touch pad didn't work, had to roll back. Asus drivers are usually way better than MS drivers are so the only thing I can think of is that there's a conflict between the ASUS driver and all the other MS crap in there. Any one have some ideals, suggestions,
T

Sorry normally device drivers are created with reference for windows 10 home , professional education and enterprise only.
Nor for LTSC editions . so there might be a compatibility problems arise.

Other than all the bloat and the ability to have more control over the OS there's no difference

Hello Robert,
Would you mind to reset the laptop?
Windows 10 - How to restore the system to factory default settings? | Official Support | ASUS Global
And keep running Windows update only until it is updated to a newer version, like 1909 or 20H1.
And see if the drivers and functions can be loaded correctly and work fine.
Thank you.

Hello Robert,
Then can we try to update to 1909?
And you are using Windows Enterprise, right?
I might need to dig in to that.
Let me know the result.
Thank you.
