Screenpad not working when ScreenXpert is installed

Following a Windows update, my screenpad has stopped working when ScreenXpert is installed. I can still activate the screenpad, however I cannot select any of the apps, e.g. numberpad. Touching the screenpad corresponds to a touch on the main screen but on a different position, i.e. if I touch the top right hand corner of the screenpad, it activates the bottom right hand corner of my monitor. If I touch the bottom right hand corner of the screenpad, it activates the bottom left hand corner of my monitor. It seems to be going clockwise. By swiping up and down on the screenpad with a single finger, it scrolls the window up and down, but again, I can't actually select the apps on the screenpad.
If I uninstall ScreenXpert, it works as a second screen where I can drag other windows to.
