  • Hello James,

Was there any specific update before the issue start to happen?

    What is your BIOS version?

Have you ever reinstall display driver? Not manually reinstall, but uninstall the driver, then let it "search automatically for driver update" to install it back.

    Thank you.

    Hi Blake_ASUS,

Bios version is American Megatrends Inc. UX331UN.308, 4/17/2019

I have not uninstall the display driver, the device manager is showing me an Intel UHD Graphics 620 and and NVIDIA GeForce MX150. Which of the 2 should i uninstall?

Intel Driver - v, 7/8/2020 by MS Windows HW Compatibility Publisher

  • Hello James,

    Please try both.

    Thank you so much.

  • Hi Blake,

I have uninstalled the NVIDIA driver, but cannot find the reinstall option even if i rebooted and chose "Scan for hardware changes"

  • Hello James,

    How about running Windows update?

    Thank you.

  • Windows is up to date at version 2020H2.

  • Hello James,

After you uninstall the driver, you may run the Windows update to let it detect to install the driver back.

    Does that work?

    Thank you.

  • when i did the check for updates, it showed the nvidia driver in the downloads but after the reboot, it did not reflect back on the device manager.

i am ok with it not showing, as long as i don't get that BSOD.

  • Nvidia has released latest GRD driver 465.89 on 30.03.2021. I installed the same . I have different model laptop

  • i am still getting the BSOD even without the NVIDIA driver in the device manager.
