Rog 2 freezes and reboot while gaming

Frequency of Occurrence: very often
Hi, I have Rog 2 which freezes and shut down every time I am playing game or sometimes using other apps too. I guess the problems started after the last update. Earlier it used to get restarted by itself, nowadays It just crashes and I have to manually restart the phone.
It's too frustrating that I can't play games on a gaming phone.

I thought it's a software issue, but I've tried resetting my phone manier time didn't solve the issue. I've monitered the system temperature and as soon as my system gets heated above 40°C, it freezes and restrarts. Seems the IC on the motherboard getting heated. Not sure if it's same for you. But I'll suggest if your device is still in warranty, rush to the SC before it's too late.

It's actually not that complicated.

1. Backup your phone data (All of them).
2. Download the Android 10 to P (WW) from ASUS rog 2 support web.
3. Move that downloaded piece of software to the root folder (where all the folders live basically).
4. Restart your phone.
5. There's now an update detected and just install it.
6. Just wait until it finishes.
7. Your downgraded to Pie!
8. Restore data backup.
