Max Pro M1 (ZB602KL) - How to update from beta to latest WW android version? Level 1
edited March 2021 in ZenFone Max Pro Series
  1. Model Name: ZB602KL
  2. Firmware Version: QKQ1.WW_Phone-17.2017.1911.407-2019 1223
  3. Rooted or not: Unknown, not sure what this means!
  4. Frequency of Occurrence: Not applicable
  5. APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app):

I'm running the above beta version of Android 10. My phone has become unstable (hangs once or twice per day) and not all features (e.g. fingerprint sensor) work.

How do I get myself back on the latest WW build that will receive FOTA updates, and hopefully restore reliability?

Downloading higher versions to the root of Internal Storage does not trigger an update when I reboot the phone.

  • U should have a memory Card and update it by that

Your device will downgrade to Android 9 WW-16.2017.1912.060 once you perform the steps successfully. Then you can FOTA or manual update to the latest Android 9 WW-16.2017.2009.087.

  • Hi santhosh05092001

Thank you for your asking. The system design of each Android version has the difference between each other. If you want to try Android 10 latest beta version, you may upgrade the firmware by visiting our official website. If you still prefer Android 9 firmware version, we provide official Android 10 to Android 9 downgrade tool. You may backup your data via Settings>System>Backup>Back up to Google Drive first, and upgrade your device to Android 10 latest beta version for a try.
