Carrier operator name issue?
Restart your device
How do you get internet speed toggle?
Airtel sim uses Idea 4g network sometimes which is what is being displayed.
Many operators use each others network.
You can try manual selection of network and may change , the one shown just above notification, bottom left in ur screenshot. The top right is ur SIM operator.
I use idea previous.
I changed the sim two days ago.
But, it will be showing
Third party app
Hi VEL ASSA
Thank you for your asking. Please try reset Network: Settings>System>Advanced>Reset options>Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth
Besides, I just checked my device and it doesn't have the sign next to the pencil icon.
Please try to enter "Safe Mode". If the function works well in Safe Mode yet the issue remains out of Safe Mode, please check on any disturbance from the installed 3rd party apps.
# How to enter and exit "Safe Mode"
I think u should reset your device😂 because ,carrier operater name is present next to ✏️ icon in every MPM1 and MPM2 device
@VEL ASSA is not talking about carrier operater name present next to ✏️ icon
He have some different issue,
He is using BSNL and IDEA sim ,but his device is showing airtel 4g sign ,below mobile data icon
Thank you for your reply.
1. My device is the Factory Reset device.
2. That is why I suggest the user to perform *Network Reset.
Let's wait for VEL ASSA's confirmation.
Hey can you check this .
Go to network settings and in airtel sim settings manually select network of airtel and see if it changes in the notification panel.
Airtel , Vodafone, Idea were previously known to share networks.
Even I dont. It's not an induvidual's problem.
Same for me. Carrier name is not shown near edit icon
Please refer all about Asus mobile then answer any questions.
Every time asus team say only " Reset or Factory reset "
This is a bug for your device or my device.
Please confirm which one is bug.
We all know this is a bug with the software and reset won't fix it. Asus mods and devs are clueless in what they are doing so the answer is "factory reset" everytime. I did not mention this bug before because this is a very minor bug and doesnt affect everyday use much. There are lots of major bugs in the OS that are yet to be fixed and should be patched as soon as possible. eg Sound Output, Brightness, Sudden Restarts etc.
Hi VEL ASSA
Thank you for your reply. Network reset will not deleted the data in your device, deleting Network related data only. Please try by the steps below
Settings>System>Advanced>Reset options>Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth
