Regarding New Update

why indians models are not getting update till now.its been almost week bt no one in india got 189. update....dont tell me to download manually...i  want it in my system update like others...please atleast confirm when will indian models get uodate like rest

    Just be lucky that Asus Dev team is bothered about updates and that too monthly sometimes twice a month with all bug fixes and security patches,I came from LG here where I used to wait for years for android updates and fixes(G&V series both) so stop being lazy and download it from the official website and just place it in the storage folder it will show up as update available.Uploading to servers and then distributing it through OTA is a slow process.I have updated it thrice since I bought my phone have no issues yet.

    Well It's super duper easy to manually flash the firmware (If your phone has WW firmware image)

    1)On your PC, Just go to https://www.asus.com/Phone/ZenFone-6-ZS630KL/HelpDesk_BIOS/
    2) Download the first firmware on the list (189)
    3) Once the download is complete, transfer the zip file (without unzipping) to the root internal storage folder via USB
    4) As soon as you unplug the USB, your phone will prompt you to upgrade with a notification. Just click on it and the phone will update in just 1-2 minutes 

    Aside from the download (which depends on your internet speed), this process is just about 5 minutes. ?

    Guys, I am an Indian 6z user and have received below FOTA update today. The security patch update till Aug.

    My 6Z was running on 1908.189 version and after seeing this latest comment I checked for updates on my phone and received a 1908.191 FOTA update (though it wasn't available in the website to be downloaded manually). Couldn't get much info in the description. It just said that some 16 Indian languages are now disabled and other general system stability improvements. Not sure what they mean by that. Anyways, I installed the 1908.191 FOTA since it said it has some system improvements. Anyone else installed it? Any changes observed?

    oh i feel lucky they provided me this buggy phone.first if u dont have answer dont comment here second i came from one plus to this shitty phn in one month they provided u 3 updates coz they are unable to fix it properly.use your brains dont be a asslicker.i want updates on fota because if something goes wrong they will blame me second i want updates coz i am facing to many issues like speaker distortion,call volume low,multitouche issue,gaming issue.please bro if u can not solve problem dont comment here thanks

    Today .191 is being rolled out for India as well - it's been approx 1wk after .189 started rolling out.

    Man, why do you always sound like youre looking for chances to get triggered for nationality reasons. Just update to 191 and you will get the features introduced in the previous firmware versions as well. You’ve gotta take that Europe sized chip off your shoulder man.

     These are the features which asus didnt offically added to changelog of .189 update and is available in .191 also.

    @Anders_ASUS This is a relatively small issue but could you consider adding any confirmation dialog after clicking emergency call in power menu? In my previous phone I had a power off button in that place and I've accidentally initiated that call twice due to muscle memory.

    Seems like @Anders_ASUS has been on leave since I haven't seen him around on the forum since quite a few days. I've also been kinda missing him ??

    Damn, looks like I'm the only Indian here with .189 and still no .191. But it doesn't seem like a major update so I guess it can wait.

    I believe other users already covered that you too are getting the same features. It unfortunately did not appear in the changelog. We are working on improving our changelogs to be more informative.

    While I understand your slight frustration but if we change the location it would mean those who also got used to where it is at this moment need to re-train their own muscle memory.
