[What are required to be a Beta Tester?]  

Own a ZenFone 6 (ZS630KL)

Be a member of ZenTalk and actively participate in the discussion of ZenFone on ZenTalk.

Be willing to provide detailed information including IMEI, Serial Number(SN), Current Firmware for the beta test setting 

Be able to read and provide feedback in English

Be familiar with Android operating system

[What will Beta Testers have?]

Get the latest firmware (Beta Version) by FOTA and experience the latest Zen UI features

Authorized to access the restricted board [Beta Testing]

[What are the responsibilities of a Beta Tester?]

Participate in every Beta version release and test on a daily basis

Report valid bugs with the correct format

Maintain confidentiality of the Beta Testing program

Be sure to post all beta-testing related issues in beta restricted board

What makes you think that? There are of course logistical considerations around the start of any beta program - especially one we have not attempted before. Our internal teams also need time to collect interest from the community - as is what we are doing here - and when the development of the internal Q build is ready for sharing with the beta testers - it will be.

The fact that more than a month has passed since the beta registration opened and yet no closure date or any kind of update made me say that. 

Now i understand that Asus sales is not at the level of samsung and xiaomi to have a ready workforce of beta testers but the mods must engage rhe community proactively. Mere opening a thread and waiting for people to join in would not work. The whole forum is around 500 posts. You will never get the numbers unless some measures are taken to pull in beta testers.

But then really what do i know. You know it better for sure.

There's also a pretty big Chinese forum and I'm not sure but there might be forums for other languages too.

We'll take in your feedback and see if any of the future beta programs should be announced and/or open up for registration at a much closer date to start time.
