Google assistant's "What's on my screen" function is not working

Hi guys! I bought my zenfone 7 pro last month and it is really great. However, the "What's on my screen" function in Google assistant is not working. It keeps asking for permission to access my screen.

Well, I did everything I can do.

I even tried to downgrade my Google app version to stock. But I still can't get it to work. Do you guys having the same problem?

Same problem here but I never use that feature anyway.

Even when I've enabled everything according to Googles guide, I can't get this feature working on any of my devices, including devices from other manufacturers. Could be that it only works on Pixel devices or in specific countries. A quick Google search didn't provide me with any answers other than that we're not alone with not getting it to work 😞

I think it has to do with the "google app". It used to work
