Had this aswell in another game. Game Genie wouldn't allow me to change the refresh rate.

But I fixed it by changing the refresh rate from auto to a fixed refresh rate.

I just kept it in 60 Hz but no use.

Forgot to mention that I set the refresh rate in the display settings to get it to work, not in Game Genie.

I just realised that the lag was my network issue. I'm using wifi and data at the same time and it's not lagging.
