I dont know is it me or this firmware, battery life is messed up!
Not facing any battery drain
But when the screen is on its feel like battery is reducing by 1% in every 2 minute or so.
Anyone facing this or just me?
Any solution for this?

1% drop every two minutes? Can you provide a screenshot of battery consumption?
is it normal or just my hallucination
The screen uses 4 hours and 43 minutes and drop 14%. It looks normal, unlike the "1% in every 2 minute" you mentioned above.
Screenshot of my battery consumption.
Thank u man for commenting
yeah same here.its draining so fast.
Try performing battery drain and then charge your battery all the way to 100%. Once battery is charged to 100%, let it discharge by 1% so it becomes 99%.
Thereafter, let it charge to 100% and let it charge for 15 minutes extra.
Sometimes battery stats go out of whack therefore giving you the odd problems.
Do this once in a while :)
Do factory reset. It worked for me.
I am facing the same thing after installing latest update on my rog 3
I think the update caused my phone to read my battery capacity incorrectly. I hit around 10-15% last night and it just shut off. Plugged it back in and it booted back up with 1% left.
I'm facing rapid battery drain issue after the update, in my case Android system is draining a lot of battery.
Me too
With very short SOT, it drains so much faster than before update. Android System,Android OS, System UI are draining battery.
Do clean & clear the data and cache with the playstore app and services.
I'm also confuse
Have a look , mine is worse it just lasts for 3-4 hours and I dnt know how my 1 percnt lasted upto 8-9 hours with 1 hour of heavy usage like gaming 120hz and YouTube videos which I left it overnight so it can drain , the video was about 3hours 55 mins yet the battery didn't drained . Second you can see how much it lasts , battery performance is just pathetic as compared to when I bought this phone .
Previously I was thinking it's normal. But it's not. After the last update, i am also facing the same problem.
Did that 3 times. No improvement in battery life. No gaming.
Screen time used to be 7 hours.
Battery would last all day and since days till next afternoon, now it's usually dead before dinner.
Please update.. This happened a few months ago too (it was much worse that time).
My screen time on A9 is 10 hours minimum screentime with over 14 hours of Screen off time. After i "updated" to android 10, my battery needs to be charged everyday. It doesn't even last a day if i play games. "6000" mah battery feels like 2000.
I've got a feeling that Asus is not appreciating existing customers and ignores the fact that there are so many bugs in A10. They just keep making new phones and never look back at older models. I barely hit 5 hours SOT now with average usage ( WhatsApp,youtube, tik tok, Chrome and some puzzle games while Auto Sync is turned off) while I could have easily hit 9 hours SOT on A9. I've got to start bringing a power bank for my 6000 battery RoG 2 just after 1 year and 2 months. Not asking for a "regular updates" like Pixel but at least give us a stable A10 with lesser bugs. This is the reason why Samsung and IPhone have much much more loyal users than Asus. Sammy and Apple APPRECIATE existing customers because consumers would reconsider those brands when they opt for a phone upgrade.
Me too. Waiting for some solution from Asus asap.
Look at this Dear Asus, battery dropped 4% after unplug from brick and i was only on YouTube for 12 MINUTES, NOTHING else. And you keep claiming there's a fix on the battery, this is a 6k battery. How are you going to convince existing consumer to upgrade to future ROG phone? Or you just needed a one time buyer?
