when i try to set to portrait mode or wide angle mode the camera app freezes. whats the problem a few days ago everyting works fine.

Yes i'm running on the latest BIOS.

You could try and go to system > type Camera in the search field > click camera app > force stop > storage & memory > clear storage & clear cache. I hope this will fix your issue

Then you need to do a full factory reset and if that doesn't help, then you need to contact ASUS support.
