Hey guys, I updated my Max Pro M1 to android 10 beta version.438 from .87 pie version. The battery backup is at it's best 2 days with Bluetooth WiFi on regular basis. All are working perfectly except WiFi. Earlier, in pie WiFi calling on jio network was working perfectly but now it's completely lost. Is it removed?
I reported that the issue is solved because I tested my device on FW V438 and there has neither delay call nor disappearing missing call notification. Besides, cengizhankiracreported that he had encountered the same situation and the issue was fixed by performing the Factory Reset, which can exclude the disturbance from third party apps.
Please try to perform the Factory Reset or follow the steps below as 10 to 9 downgrade steps.
0. Backup the device.
1. Download "MaxProM1_downgrade_to_9" and then put the image file into the root directory of the MicroSD card.
wifi calling is present. search in settings and turn it on. it would also pop up in sugestion settings.
alternatively if ou have jio app, open it and go to data usage and select device usage it redirects to android,'s network settings of jio sim where wifi calling can be turned on.
There is no wi-fi calling available in search result now whereas earlier it was. You can also see the screenshot attached from WiFi config via *#*#4636#*#* code, it's showing disabled for both SIM card.
@Yachendra Vro they are going to the first page just below the OP i marked them & Please post one more time copy from there & comment one more time. It'll be in the thread if someone comes to last page direct.
@Christine_ASUS Please look into the OP once more time carefully, i pointed 2-3 issues they're geniune bugs.
-"VoLTE" bug & Incoming call" is critical bug.
-Camera & Media volume issue isn't serious, we can tackle.
The current 438 build is super fine except those things.
If the technical team can fix the VoLTE & INCOMING CALL delay issue. The build can become final candidate for A10 rollover Please Don't reply copy paste factory reset quotes. I posted geniune bugs NOT stupid things like apps crash, battery backup or slow data speed etc..
Please don't mark this thread as solved. Some other people also report this after i asked them to check.
No one noticed this bug becouse none of us call on our own phone. But after update my callers where asking if my phone was out of coverage. I found this bug.
Kindly refer to the screenshot as my device on V438.
Don't know why the bug is not in your phone. Are you using some SIP/VoIP calling or cellular?
Like some users have network icon bug which resolves by rebooting but my VoLTE doesn't start automatically on both SIMs after reboot (sometimes) then it fix only after 2 reboots. Software is affecting everyone differently?
1. If I change another SIM card of different SIM carrier, the issue remains the same.
Both on JIO 4G only & AIRTEL 4G/2G.
2. I can't downgrade because i only have MPM1 as my daily drivers. But calling issue wasn't on A9 earlier.
VoLTE answers:
Kindly refer to the screenshot as my device on V438: Settings>Network & internet>Mobile network
3. I am using JIO 4G & AIRTEL.
4. Yes, both JIO 4G & AIRTEL SIM carrier supported VoLTE on Android 9.
5. Never unlocked or rooted my device?
6. "Preferred network type" set to 2G/3G/4G. See attachments.
7. I can't downgrade because i only have MPM1 as my daily drivers. But calling issue wasn't on A9 earlier.
I never unlocked bootloader & upgraded straight from A9 087 to 438.

Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.
Would you suggest every one to factory reset when the A10 OTA roll out for the end user?
I don't think official upgrade will happen in the first place.

2. If you downgrade to Android 9, does your issue remain the same?
VoLTE question:
Kindly refer to the screenshot as my device on V438: Settings>Network & internet>Mobile network
3. Which SIM carrier are you using?
4. Does your SIM carrier support VoLTE on Android 9?
5. Have you ever unlocked or rooted your device?
6. Check "Preferred network type" to 2G/3G/4G
7. If you downgrade to Android 9, does your issue remain the same?
@Christine_ASUS Thanks for reply.
You are from Taiwan?
My Reply below.
1) Yes, I use Airtel and VI where I interchanged the sim slots for both. Also, I inserted My friends Jio and VI sim and checked the se in both cases.
2) I didn't downgraded to Pie. But, I never encountered this issue.
3) I use both Airtel & VI. To check issue I used Jio also. Indian service providers.
4) Yes, all the above said 3 operators provide VOLTE. I used while in Pie.
5) Not unlocked bootloader / Not Rooted
6) It's set as "2G/3G/4G".
7) I didn't face this in Pie. Now I didn't downgrade to Pie.
Find attachments where both VOLTE is for Airtel and VI also, selected preferred network type.
@Christine_ASUS My Android version
It still supports volte as Android 9 but after upgrading to 10 , only wi-fi calling is not available for Jio carrier.
