I have a ROG Phone (the Tencent one)
And there was this one time I was charging my phone, then I unplug the phone and all of a sudden I see this red cross on the battery symbol with a red outline as well.
I was wondering if anyone can help me? Would be very appreciated

I would try toggling Balance and Battery Saving Mode to see if that makes any difference. Probably wont as it was still occurring in Safe Mode.
Also what is the firmware version? Settings - System - About Phone - Software Information - Build Number
Did you face this issue when you first got the phone?

I would do factory reset and if this doesnt work, try going to service center.
If service center doesnt accept your phone because it is tencent version, i would try and go to the seller.
Tencent vesion of the phone is buggy and it is only fixed by developers in China.

I might have another lead.

I think the phone wanted you to replace the battery. It might be damaged in some kind of way it needs to be replaced?
