Ze620kl doesn't recognize 5ghz Wi-Fi

Hi guys, I own a ZenPhone 5 ze620kl and I always used it with my 5ghz wifi on my ISP provided router (a tecnicolor) something.

Problem is I now have a more powerfull router to manage my Internet that suports dual band wifi, but my phone doesn't recognize the 5ghz Wi-Fi, only the 2.4 one. All the other devices that support dual band wifi in my home detect it, but this phone does not.

Why is that with the other router I didn't have any problems and now I have?

According to GSM arena my phone has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, isnt that supposed to mean that it supports 5ghz wifi?

Hi paulorafael62
Thank you for your asking. Kindly provide the information below so that we can better assist you.
1. Your current firmware version
Settings>System>About Phone>Software information
2. Your current router model name
3. Can your phone detect 5 ghz wifi in other area now?
4. If you put your phone and other devices in the same room of the router, can other device detect 5 ghz wifi yet can't your device?
5. Please try reset Network: Settings>System>Reset options>Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth
6. Please try turn off the router and reconnect the signal.
