Detailed description:I updated the BIOS to verison 311. That seems to have resolved the webcam screen flicker issue, but the touch pad is still not working properly. It is not consistent switching from numeric to touch. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

  • Hello msteinles,

May you double check if your ASUS Numberpad Driver version is V12.0.0.32?

If so, may you record a short video of the issue?

    Thank you so much.

  • For the Driver: File V 12.0.0.12. Driver V 12.1.0.29

    Video attached. Thanks1

  • Hello msteinles,

Thank you so much for the video.

I have reported to related department to double check about it.

  • Hello msteinles,

After checking with our technical support, there were no Driver V 12.1.0.29.

May you double check and update the numpad driver V12.0.0.32?

    Thank you so much.

    Yes, the driver is 12.0.0.32.

    I downloaded and reinstalled it.

  • Hello msteinles,

And is the numpad switch issue okay now?

    Thank you.

  • No, sadly it is still not working.

  • Blake,

Good news and good luck. Windows just ran another update and the touchpad seems to be working consistently. (Yes, I did check for Windows updates when this issue started.)

Although I am somewhat hesitant, I think we can close this ticket and I'll reopen if it stops working again.

    Thanks!

    Hello msteinles,

    Sure.

May I have the Windows update record to see what have been recently updated so I can add to my report to technical support?

    Thank you so much.

  • Here is the record of the update.

  • Hello msteinles,

    Thank you so much!

  • You're welcome. It still is not consistent, but much improved.
