Phone keeps shutting down

Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
Model Name:ROG 2
The phone keeps shutting off whenever I try to play pubg or COD Mobile.
It specifically shuts down when the temperature goes above 38 degree Celsius.
I've tried resetting the phone. It still doesn't work.

Please help asap

Go to service centre. Motherboard will be replaced with zero cost. Had this issue for 7 months.

In my case they replaced mother board and display. Don't know why they replaced the display. Had to wait for 40 days. ASUS sucks when it comes to communicating with the customer. Except for the waiting it did not cost me anything.

Yes very hard to claim warranty if you have physical damage. Tough luck. I had this issue for nearly 7 months . So frustrated yet had to take extreme care so that it does not get any physical damage. And after waiting for 40 days I finally got my device back.

I'm sorry but the downgrade isn't going to help. Had this issue for nearly 7 months. Infact I downgraded it as soon as I started facing this issue( unlike you ). You won't face any issue the first few days then it'll start again. MOTHERBOARD REPLACEMENT THE ONLY OPTION.
