Asus Zenbook 14 UX434FLC Battery Problem

eliaz_brumer
Star I
just bought this laptop - and from the beginning low battery capacity - held for less then 4 hours.
restarted the bios and AC adapter in the device manager - nothing help....
sent it to repair - they changed the battery - work fine for several hours and then - low capacity - held for less then 4 hours.
when charging - the led turn to white in around 98% and when it reach to 99% - the display for time for full charged stuck and it can remain on 5 minutes for more 30 minutes or so. If restart the AC adapter in the device manager while its stuck on the 5 minutes - time will update but will stuck again.
any idea?

you must flash latest intel management engine firmware version 14.0.46.1431 to intel i7 10510U processor by available flashing tool . Flashed firmware is permanent it cant be downgraded or deleted from processor , but it can upgraded to next version firmware .
Flashing of incorrect firmware SKU makes the laptop Dead,

but there are four SKU based above firmware version
say
Intel CSME 14.0 Consumer PCH-H A Firmware v14.0.46.1431
For Comet Lake H systems which run CSME Consumer H A v14.0

Intel CSME 14.0 Corporate PCH-H A Firmware v14.0.46.1431
For Comet Lake H systems which run CSME Corporate H A v14.0

Intel CSME 14.0 Consumer PCH-LP B,A Firmware v14.0.46.1431
For Comet Lake LP systems which run CSME Consumer LP B,A v14.0

Intel CSME 14.0 Corporate PCH-LP B,A Firmware v14.0.46.1431
For Comet Lake LP systems which run CSME Corporate LP B,A v14.0

Really i cant judge which SKU edition PCH - H or PCH- LB A is suitable to your processor .

for my vivobook 15 R542UQ-DM153 with Bios X542UQ model , suitable firmware is
Intel CSME 11.8 Consumer PCH-LP C NPDM Firmware v11.8.81.3781,
i took own risk, i found the correct firmware in the non asus website , i downloaded and then i flashed to without problems .
i downloaded the firmware
https://www.win-raid.com/t596f39-Intel-Management-Engine-Drivers-Firmware-amp-System-Tools.html
but for your model processor is doubt , so onething you can do, send an email to asus Research development team via email
security@asus.com

system refers to processor it's can be attacked by hackers , Intel Inc already released firmware to solve this , firmware must be released by laptop manufacturers to respective models of laptops.
vulnerable processor should not be used for work..
some times battery problems can be solved by flashing intel ME firmware.
sometimes by adjusting the windows os , battery draining problems can be solved
