========================
Detailed description:
Since I bought the laptop (fall 2018) I used it in the "maximum lifespan mode" of the "Asus battery health charging" programme, thus always keeping the laptop connected to electricity. I noticed that the fans of the laptop were starting running pretty often, not only running heavy programmes or with windows update in background. And the battery was always overheated. I thought. Well, fan output seems very small so it is probably this.
Recently, I decided to change mode, using the "balance mode", and thus charging the laptop and then using it with battery only. I noticed, surprisingly, that the overheating disappeared. Then I made some experiments, realising that the fan re-started stirring during charging period and stopping when unplugged.
So, my question is: is that possible that there is a malfunction, in the Asus Battery Health Charging? Because at these conditions, I do not know whether keeping the battery at 60% can be beneficial, while it is always overheated.
May you shed light on this issue?
Thank you,
Salvatore
