Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
Model Name: Zenfone Max Pro M1 6GB
Firmware Version: Android 9
Rooted or not: No
Frequency of Occurrence: Random occurence
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): Quickstep (default) launcher
In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.
========================================
Long press to Split Screen or App info not working at all. Nothing happens while long press.
Temporary fix: Restart device or Force stop followed by Cache clear of Quickstep from app settings.
OMG!😤 Even this forum is not bug free, I had to re-upload the Screenshot.

Uh that was your decision don't blame anyone else

Like seriously when both were available for same price as you say then why did you choose Snapdragon 636 over a Snapdragon 845 doens't make sense lol

Plus max pro is a entry level phone, poco F1 was a mid range flagship killer

Because, I didn't buy on my own. My brother bought it for me. And later that month he bought Poco F1 for himself.🙄

Hi, we'd request you follow the below steps:

1. Clear system cache.

2. Try the same under safe mode:

Hold the power button for 5 seconds => When the screen flashes with option => Press & hold power option => You will get an option to restart in safe mode

3. If still you face the issue

factory reset your phone after taking a full backup : https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1006346/

4. Last option would be to visit the service center to have

a check. Locate here: https://www.asus.com/in/support/Service-Center/India

I ain't got free data, so that whenever anything bad happens because of software update I had to do a factory reset and re-Download about 10Gb of apps. And this is not just with my device. Many users in the past have also reported this bug. It is not going to be fixed by just a factory reset. And also, I am not willing to run my device in safe mode all day just to look for a bug that is clearly a problem with the device firmware. I ain't got time for that. Just fix the damn bugs for the next update.

All this is present in the shit from ASUS, plus a very crappy update and treatment of its users. And there's no need to praise the shit company ASUS. This is a complete bottom, not a company, and it will soon cease to EXIST!!!!
