Worked for 14 hours of youtube with still having 14% battery left and 2 hour of talking while having my screen off and i have 26 hour of screen off time after downgrading to android 9. In android 10 my phone barely lasted with 10 hour of youtube.
I say it can go 16 hour of SOT with 18 hour of screen off time which makes total of 34 hours of phone working. Now that feels like a 6000 mah battery right? A10 ruined its battery, i saw massive change after downgrade. This data is only when no gaming. All i did is youtube and phone calls.
Ok bro thanks..today i hv factory reset my phone and tried charging only 1time..that time my phone didn't get switch off while charging as it used to be
So m thinking of first trying out as such so that if same problem persist even now then i will take my device to service center otherwise m going to downgrade it to android 9
I don't know why everytime asus updates are full of bugs
Earlier I was having asus laser phone tht time also updates were bad.
Asus phone with factory version is best otherwise it become full. Of bugs with every updates..nobody wants phones updates with new features+bugs
We just want stable updates but everytime bug is directly proportional to asus😂
My friends and juniors are laughing on me because of these issues..atleast asus should provide stable updates to high range phones
I could still remember when I first got hands on this phone , I used to play pubg untill I'm tired and battery always remained for next day use . I used to boast that games makes me tired not my battery but as of now I just drains too fast 3 percnt in 10-15 mins and sometimes even less . I personally can not go back to A9 due to A10 features but i really wish if they can get back the same battery performance . Also sorry , I just tagged the same post again n again.
After the latest update I've tried downloading this and placing in the internal storage and restarting. Hardware stub services doesn't pop up with the downgrade. Nothing. I've done it before and it worked. Any suggestions?
Make sure to download the exact version of your phone, if your phone has global rom (WW) then download the global one and if you phone has chinese rom then download the chinese rom (CN)
Hey man sadly the phone shutdown/black screen while charging and black screen screen during PUBG ( or any other game ) does not go away after downgrading to A9😞. Service centre is the only option available if y'all are talking about the same issue I mentioned:-(
I am not getting a black screen, my phone just completely turned off on my when playing on A10. Its fixed for me. I think in your case you should probably go to service center if downgrading didnt fix your issue. Visit there before you warranty runs out.
1 week usage ( PUBG + OTHER APPS ) black screen issue is gone.
Then it starts again . I contact the mods they tell me to wait until they find solution.
Finally they tell us ( many of us facing the same issue) to get it to service centre for RMA.( Key word "RMA" )
I personally could not but many who I've known through this forum got it to the service centre . But the service centre guys simply downgraded the phone to A9 and send back the phone to check whether problem solved. No sign of RMA .Problem reappears after a week.
Luckily a few who were early to get it to service centre get a COMPLETE REFUND OF AROUND 38K INR. And a lot of them who were unlucky have been made to run circles and still these service centre guys simply downgrade and lie to us that it is Android 10 fault while clearly the same issue exists on A9 as well
I have to mention that A few have gotten their motherboard replaced as well!( A possible Fix)
Yeah man I did that. Still nothing popped up. I have the ww version. Placed it in internal storage folder and restarted. I even reset app preferences. Allowed permissions. Still nothing pops up after when I restart. I've manually updated and downgraded before so I don't know whats going on. Should I attempt to reset to factory settings?
Figured it out. I had multiple copies of the file. My internet was acting buggy so some of them were unfinished. Anyway there was a (2) at the end of the file name so the update manager wasn't picking up on it. I removed the (2) from the file name and it recognized it right away. Probably gonna stick with Android 9 for a bit since the battery life is much much better than what I was getting with A10. The latest update was absolutely horrible

Hi Akash,
What is the SOT you are getting after downgrade?

@Akash Gupta where to put android 9 file exactly in file manager after downloading and i have to unzip it and then place it in root or as it is?
Do not unzip the file, place it in the root of your phone which means the zip file should not be in any kind of folder.

Nice, you should rename the discussion topic from downgrade to upgrade 😁
Battery performance in A9 was excellent , it used to last for day n half and now just for hours .
Yes, updates ruined the battery and overall performance.

Reply my comment if you are talking about the Known issue( black screen / shutdown ). I know a test that you can perform to check if it is fixed.
Hey bro I hope you read this!
Issue started in May ( was on A10 ).
Downgraded to A9 the next day.
