The phone is suffering from android system battery drain. Android system is draining a big chunk of the battery. I don't use netflix and a light a user of youtube. Please help

I am also facing the same problem after this latest update in ROG phone 2.....it seems happening in ORG 3 also.
ROG 2 is suffering from this massively. Seems to be linked between either google or ASUS software in the latest update.

I own an ROG phone 2 and Facing the same issue since the last update. My phone is not even fast charging after this. Expect to receive a correction update asap.
Clear the data of all google apps!
Hey this will happen if u use dual accounts! If u do then delete the second account or user
If not clear the data of all the google apps mainly google play services! (This is the main reason for android system batery drain as this is the core!)
I have cleared the data/cache of all google apps but still no luck!
What do you mean by dual accounts
Like using two google accounts on the phone?
I think this is related to the google play store drain
Try disabling play store maybe till google issues an fix

i am facing the same problem i cant get more than 5H SOT and it is ridiculous
After .78 update I'm noticing that System UI doesn't show up in the battery usage stats and Android system eats much less battery now
I'll say the SOT is quite good for me at least. I'm attaching a screenshot. 90hz always on, balance mode, 30-40% brightness.
You seemed to be getting great sot . Does your slow charge work ? I get approx 1 hour of battery for every 10% how is your battery so good
I have updated to the latest version now, will share any improvements in the battery.
I generally put my phone on charge while going to bed with schedule charging toggled ON. And I use it normally. It's nothing like I'm doing something extraordinary to achieve this battery life. On a general note i get min 10hrs with every Full charge. When I cap my charging limit to 80, I get 7:30-8 hrs of backup. And yeahhh I charge with 'slow charge' toggled ON most of the time.
