Google Pay not working after latest update

After updating today the phone no longer meets Google Play Security Certification and GPay refuses to work.
It worked just fine prior to updating. Resetting Play Store or GPay doesn't fix it.
Edit: The Certification is still there in my settings so in theory it should still work but can't reinstall the GPay app or Play Store. Avoiding factory reset would be preferable.
Edit 2: Contacted Google and they say it's on your end to fix the firmware and meet security standards so that was a dead end.

@Syn Could be CTS sync delay. Try again in 24 hours and if it doesn't work - mention me in this thread and we'll investigate further.
Same problem this morning in Italy. Really embarrassing having a +1000€ phone not be able to pay. Hope it's for CTS delay. Asus should have thought about GPay when updating
please fix the same problem for me ... before it went without any problems
@Gustav_ASUS issue persists today as well
Same problem for me, please solve ASAP. Please do not let us factory reset our phone.
Now I have to ask...does it solve the Problem when you reset your phone? I could, I have time, but I would not like to factory reset it, again. I would even be more angry if it doesn't solve the problem.
Should be on them to patch it. I really hate having to redo all the setup, especially over their broken update
Alos same . My google pay is not working.even trying all type of possibilities. Plese solve this issue asap. What if a 50 k phone doesn't able to use google pay. @Gustav_ASUS @ARP_ASUS
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I've passed it on to our developers.
Just a Question if I want to fix it earlier...but does a Full Phone Wipe/Reset solve this issue? Or does it bring nothing and I just should better wait?? Appreciate every response.
It is related to the fact that Google play appears to be not certified. My phone is not rooted. Also I forgot to mention that after restarting the phone, google pay started working again.
after restarting the phone, google pay started working again.
Thanks a lot for the confirmation.
So far I'm going now to install the Phone again...but please still fix the issue Asus, because I dn't want to havethe same issue with the next patch (again)
Restarting phone doesn't fix it for me, it was the most obvious thing to try first. I've tried it multiple times and resetting storage on both GPay and PlayStore, still not secure according to GPay.
Try rebooting your phone again. It is indeed an issue with Google CTS sync and will take care of itself. (If not already, then later today or possibly tomorrow.)
@Gustav_ASUS yeah it started working now around lunch, google still complains phone is "not meeting requirements" but seems to be their shitty system not working as intended and not your fault. Thanks for being around and looking into it
Google play store appears not certified after this update, even thou google pay started working again after rebooting. The phone is ROG3 (8-256Gb), international version, never rooted
the problem is still there.
ROG 3 8/128
