========================================
I have brought device August 12 ,2020 through flipkart first sale at 6auhust. I was very happy until i open netflix ,it has vert bad black crush issue even at full brightness ,in 50pecent brightness colour washed out heavy black crush issue is this hardware or software issue??anyway im just gonna refund ....but i asked some of YouTubers they have none issue ,but for fellow customers only have this😓. I decided to live with this but some of units have no issue why i wanna live with this issue for years so i try to get refund and but 12gb varient.
In YouTube crush issue is little low when compared to netflix and amazon prime ,rather than that this dev is beast 😍
I have noticed heat in aero active coller side(40°to43°) always while playing pupg at 90hz,balanced,extream . although I'm staying in AC room 22°c all time!

Did I claim that Rog doesn't have black crush?
All I wanted to say was that all high hz phones including op has it too
It's an technological disadvantage with high hz panels right now
You'll have those issues unless there's an improvement in technology,micro led which is a best of both ips and OLED tech

🙂
Not everyone rates a purchase neither writes a review this as an avg sets things pretty clear though
Plus I the above screenshots I posted were on top (I didn't even have to go into 1 star review section)
Plus us arguing which phone has more issues doesn't make any sense to be honest 😂
Let's hope Asus can decrease the black crush in future updates

I hope they will fix it
if asus fixes this issue I'll agree that asus are on par with OnePlus and others biggies

1400+ are positive 5 star tho
And yeah Asus is working on it as per mod comments,some did report a decrease in black crush after latest fota so that's a positive sign imo

I don't think users who said the black crush has decreased have different results than us @Averan ( I'm assuming you updated too ). They just meant above 70% brightness the black crush is gone on all refresh rates and that's true.
