Please go ahead and return the device. You Purchased 12GB variant means the black crush issue is already posted in zentalk forum before 12GB variant went on for sale in flipkart. Now why cribbing on black crush issue.
By installing 'screen balance' app from playstore and enabling the app will reduce the black crush issue on the device.
Bro either fix black crush issue or return my money .
I spent 62000 for phone and accessories. Seriously I'm regretting my decision.
there is an update on this, and it takes sometime to get OTA, meanwhile you can manually update via firmware from website, follow instructions on website, but someone said it has sovled upto 85% only.
If you have return option , go ahead and do that
New update targets black crush in Netflix. Overall device level black crush can be minimised by using screen balance free app. People need to understand that it's same case with other flagship devices from OnePlus, samsung. Can't compare with Apple as they didn't use amoled screens yet.
But user is the one who actually uses the device right ? then it is so obvious to complain if the experience is not upto the mark, be it small or big issue.
Case may be the same , that doesn't mean ASUS should repeat that blunder !
User Experience/Satisfaction is what matters in the end.
I do agree to certain extent that , 100% quality cannot be guranteed by anyone, but it should be very minimal

Yes it's an issue with all high refresh rate oleds as of now
Even samsung note 20 ultra has tint and display issues (That's an 70k phone)
Phones using samsung display like oneplus have the same complains
but not as severe black crush as of Rog 3
Check the Amazon reviews once :D (8pro)

my friend has a OnePlus 8 pro I checked for black crush it is very very less and I agree it has some very minimal tint but black crush is very less when compared to Rog 3

All the reviews mention bad black crush
Maybe your friend was lucky to get a good unit but the thing is almost everyone else suffers from one issue or the other I personally know 2-3 guys who have got refunds for 8pro due to display issues
By that logic I know a few guys with Rog 3 with perfect calibration and no black crush
Btw oneplus 8pro has a lot of other issues too

I know no one is perfect. But , i paid for a almost perfect phone and ended up getting worst display issues a phone can get. Btw i came from rog 2 . Rog 2's display is fine . Even my 2 years old pixel 3 xl has better display than rog 3 . I can handle minimal issues calling and all because i got rog 3 especially for gaming . I dont even use sim in it. Always play on wifi. I can handle all the problems but the display is no compromise zone. Big thumbs down for asus . Asus should do something because almost everyone is complaining about this issue. Otherwise next rog will be a flop.

I recieved the latest update today itself in the morning but the thing is ... The black is not yet solved it is as it was before but the green tint ulhas now increased... I would suggest asus team to work really hard for the display update as the complaints regarding black crush and tint
