Dude ,just get replacement and cancel replacement simple
Flipkart isn't approving a replacement unless the screen shows dead pixels which is not the case for any of us. So your method doesn't seem to work. I had my request cancelled just yesterday. Seems we're completely at the mercy of Asus.
I would suggest you apply for a refund/replacement at the earliest. Even though Flipkart isn't going to approve, maybe they can make Asus understand the situation right away.
P.S My request was cancelled yesterday citing that there were no dead pixels on my display and the issue had to be taken up with the brand (Asus).
Asus Mods, you guys need to think of this as a relationship problem wherein the most effective solution is to communicate with each other. In this case it is between the customers and moderators and I feel there is a lack of communication.
Guys I think I found a solution. I just bought the ROG 3 12GB RAM & 256 GB Storage version a few days back. The black crush issue was killing the whole vibe! I am also finding the battery life not too great either (was expecting to be blown away seeing all the available reviews on youtube), but that is an issue for a different thread.
I just used it myself and thought I should post it here for everyone who is returning it. Since this seems like a software bug, ASUS must be working on it.

I bought the new Asus ROG3 12GB version with high expectations. But the display has many issues. Black crush, display flickering. Heating issue is also there, even while slow charge enabled. Kindly do the needful.

I am too facing this black crush issues ,I just got the phone delivered yesterday, I have never seen such issues in any of the previous devices I was using ,oneplus 7 pro and S10 to this extent, is it hardware or software issue,can it be fixed or not .
Now there's is no option of return on flipcart its only replacement.

The .58 update has been released, but unfortunately the problem with bad black persists. So probably a hardware problem. I return my Asus and switch to another brand of phone.

I do not understand how such an update, which focused on the display can pass the check ??? HAVE ANY SOMEONE FROM ASUS THIS PHONE ???? This could not happen in Apple. You would get an hour's notice. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM WITH HARDWARE.
