Hi, My Zenfone is constantly losing SIM signal, not detecting the SIM card and rebooting constantly. I tried doing a factory reset, but it did not fix the issue. Does anyone have the same problem?

Hi ruda.floresta, We would suggest that you try: (1.) Settings > Network & internet > SIM card> Disable and enable the SIM card (2.) Settings> Network & internet > Mobile network > Preferred network type> choose "2G/3G/4G" again. (3.) Power off your phone > reinsert sim card > turn on the phone (4.) Turn on airplane mode > wait for 3 seconds > then turn it off. (5.) Try using another sim card by a different operator (6.) Try resetting the network settings: Settings > System > Reset options > Reset WiFi, mobile & Bluetooth) If this problem still appears, what we would advise is that you have the unit sent in for an assessment and servicing where necessary. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Hi all. I have exactly the same problems recently. That happened after I accidentally kind of crushed my phone (was charging at that time) using my back while lying on the bed. No physical damage done. But my phone was on constant reboot after that and after sometime it would go into the OS. Besides that the phone was heated up.
I have done factory reset. It went "well' for a few days and today it went "beserk" again with constant rebooting and constantly not detecting the sim cards. My phone was kind of "crushed" when i put it inside my pants pocket and that triggers it.
I kind of follow the advice given by Y.Asus. other than that when I power off I pinch the sim card slot when I took out the sim cards tray. Hopefully it'll go smoothly.. if not then I will need to bring this phone for a service.

Hi ingrid.lie16
Thank you for your asking. Kindly try some extra stay-at-home troubleshooting tips below:
1. As you mentioned that your phone worked some days after performing the Factory Reset, Ppease try to enter "Safe Mode". If the function works well in Safe Mode yet the issue remains out of Safe Mode, please check on any disturbance from the installed 3rd party apps.

2. Take out SIM card slot>Push the slot back without SIM card>Pull out the slot and put the SIM card into the slot>Push the slot back
