please follow the below steps :

  1. Install google's "Phone" and "Contact".
  2. disable native "contact" and "dialer" app.
  3. set google's "Phone" and "Contact" as default app.
  4. open a contact from contact app and you can see the video calling option.
  5. dial a number and video call option will come.
  6. you can do voice call and convert it to video call.

Note : This only support video call for 1 person, if you want to do video conference call it wont help.

I'm attaching below some screenshot for reference.

Tried your method step by step. Again, in phone app, video call is greyed out and in contact app, it shows setup option which asks me to download google duos.
I need video calling for single person not for video conferencing.

Hi, I checked and realised that video calling option was disabled for sim1 ( for sim2 it is by default grayed out). After enabling it, I'm able to see the video calling option now. Thanks for the help. Do you know how to enable video calling in second sim as well?

I'm not sure. but try this:
Native dialer -> settings -> call -> carrier video calling -> enable video calling from here.
Please let me know if anyone finds out how to do video conference calling using ViLTE.
