Otg pendrive not working

Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
Model Name:asus zenfone max pro m2
Firmware Version:
Rooted or not: no
Latest updated version
=======================================Earlier the otg pendrive used

to work fine but now only pop up that comes is of reverse charging and no notification regarding usb connected and I am not able to locate external stirage in file manager as well (the pendrive and otg are fine as I tested them in another device )
Also I tried connecting a mouse using otg it also works but not the pendrive
Am I the only one facing this issue

Hi, we'd request you follow the below steps:
1. Clear system cache.
2. Try the same under safe mode:
Hold the power button for 5 seconds => When the screen flashes with option => Press & hold power option => You will get an option to restart in safe mode
3. If still you face the issue

4. Last option would be to visit the service center to have
