I have brought device August 12 ,2020 through flipkart first sale at 6auhust. I was very happy until i open netflix ,it has vert bad black crush issue even at full brightness ,in 50pecent brightness colour washed out heavy black crush issue is this hardware or software issue??anyway im just gonna refund ....but i asked some of YouTubers they have none issue ,but for fellow customers only have this😓. I decided to live with this but some of units have no issue why i wanna live with this issue for years so i try to get refund and but 12gb varient.
In YouTube crush issue is little low when compared to netflix and amazon prime ,rather than that this dev is beast 😍
I have noticed heat in aero active coller side(40°to43°) always while playing pupg at 90hz,balanced,extream . although I'm staying in AC room 22°c all time!

What I said is that the worst black crush can be seen in netflix. This is because of the brightness bar bug which we will fix.

We will also adress the overall experience (which includes "offline online everywhere")

@Anders_ASUS Sir I was noticing him from the start ..and I found that he is just taking moderators (asus) side only..he edited his comment..and deleted that part which I was talking about
This issue is not small for users ...if u can understand..
We put our hard earned money over it.
I m extremely sorry if my comment is not upto the community guidelines..

I m aslo a developer and I know how things works..level of black crush is worst everywhere ..(I also provided the temporary solution on how to reduce black crush ,in my previous comments)
And the most important thing like one plus did-
Still there is no official statement from asus about fixing the issue .

3 more days and i m out from this community and asus products for ever..if something solid doesn't comes up
I will return it for sure..
Also told my friends not to buy it on next sale..
I m really pissed with this device.

As @Anders_ASUS said that they will address this black crush issue everywhere in system than most probably this is official statement from ASUS side you must understand that ASUS will push real hard to fix this issue as early as possible being patient and awaiting is the only thing you can do for now
And yes it is understandable how it feels when we buy a highly priced product and if that doesnt meet upto expectations, stay tuned n dont worry!

Lol i am aslo facing black crush issue its very horrible to see any videos even multi touch issue too I didn't expect from asus on this high end device this was the first time i bought high end device and what i got is a defective peice 😶

For now it is confirmed as a netflix brightness bar bug and also for entire system this issue will be addressed dont worry
