Unlock Tool for ROG phone 2 not working

Hi,
I've tried to unlock my device with official tool download from asus website. I was getting "unknown error". I've tried both versions of unlock tool, but they end with same error
Also, I've tried to downgrade to android 9 as well. Yet same error

Could you please also provide your software version to me? ([Settings] > [System] > [About phone] > [Software information])
Currently on 17.0240.2007.27 but also tried with A9 same error on both firmware

Though, I've also tried to downgrade to ".64" on A9 but the unlock tool didn't work there either.

Hello we have discovered the root cause and will release new unlock tool when it is ready. Thanks for your help.
By the way only for Rog 2 or all devices?
Zenfone 5z and 6 users have this issue with unlock tool too

Will this fix also work for older devices that now are experiancing the same issue? I have an Asus Transformer TF300T that I am trying to unlock the Bootloader using Unlock_V8 and getting the same Error Message.
Same problem here. I can't unlock my bootloader. Tried it on Android 9 and 10.
Same problem too, tried it on Android 10, then downgraded to Android 9 and still got the same error.
I really suffer from this problem, is there a solution or not, please help

they are working on it, they literally do not have a fix to hand out, yet. be patient and stop spamming.
