I do believe it would help out a lot if ASUS reaches out to game developers and game publishers to support their devices. It's something that other manufacturers do to promote their device and to better optimize games to run in them. In a more extreme and unnecessary promotion for example, Fortnite had early beta testing exclusivity with Samsung Galaxy devices. But the point is that Samsung reached out to the developers to collaborate. Razer collaborated with a lot of game publishers too but not to the extent of limited exclusivity. Yes it very much depends on the game publishers but nothing will happen if they remain uninformed or if ASUS doesn't reach out to them.
P.S. With that said, please try to collaborate or reach out to Nintendo on their mobile games. Dragalia Lost and Mario Kart Tour would look absolutely amazing in 120fps. It's also weird that the first ROG Phone can support Pokémon GO at 90fps but the ROG Phone II can only run it at 1/3 of the frame rate. Here's a video of the game running at 90fps on the first ROG Phone but capped at 60fps in YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPm4xjd0Dqo (I can't post links)
Do keep game developers and publishers informed because there are many Android devices out there for them to know about.
Seems you are correct, I can also no longer reproduce 120fps (but I could before as well..) - anyway, amending the list, Thanks
We have more things in store, thank you for the feedback.
Getting exclusive or early game support is not always only about "reaching out".
Thanks for taking the feedback. Partnerships with game developers can be great and I understand that exclusives are definitely not always about "reaching out". I was just pointing out that ASUS should always make sure that game developers are informed about the ROG Phones so that they might be able to make the necessary adjustments to their games. It would maybe even help by sending them the devices if it would help them.
By the way, I don't think I got the follow up on the deal with Pokemon GO. Have you tested it with the first ROG Phone to see if it still runs in 90fps? It's just weird to me that the ROG Phone II can only run it at 30fps while the ROG Phone I can run it at 90fps from what I've seen and read. It also runs at 120fps in Razer Phones too so it's strange if the ROG Phone II is the only high refresh rate phone that can't support Pokemon GO at a high refresh rate.
For Pokemon Go, there's some strange things with their 3D engine.
I can get it to run 60fps on ROG 2 , but it wont go to 120fps.
On Pixel 4 it seems 30fps.
On a OnePlus 7 Pro, I can treally decide if it is 30 or 60..might be 60.
But they arent doing 90 or 120.. can't comment about Razer Phone.
thank you :)

We've now passed 200 verified games working at faster than 60fps , most being 120fps!
Mini militia supports 120 fps????
By the way, can someone check if Dragalia Lost runs in 120fps? Dragalia Lost just had a really cool collab with Monster Hunter and is gaining traction. It's honestly my favorite mobile game.
My NBA 2K20 also doing extremely good in 120 FPS..
Pixel gun 3D seems to be locked at 60fps both in a match and in the lobby
The Walking Dead Season 1 supports 120hrz!
Marvel Future fight 120fps
World of Dragon Nest 120fps
But first you need to open the game and set 120hz on armoury crate, then minimize the game set the system to 60hz on toolbar (if ur refresh rate is already 60hz on system change it to 120hz go back to 60hz then open the game)
Idk why it has to be like that, otherwise it wont work
It can breaks the game or the phone? Because when i did the same thing with unlisted game that capable of running 120fps my phone gets really hot
Yes. If a game is poorly coded. It can run fast or glitchy if you double the frame rate.
The extra heat is because they phone pretty much has to work twice to get twice the frame rate. I am not a Software Engineer. But, I assume it works vaguely like that.
