6Z Motherboard issue.

I just ordered the 6z and I would be travelling to Europe after 10 days. The recent Motherboard issue, though affecting a few units only, there is a chance of it reproducing after I leave for Europe. Would I get the required support in Germany under the warranty period?

  • The warranty for a ZenFone 6 is local, meaning you would need to be in the region where you purchased the device to receive warranty service. If you PM me your device serial number, I could verify what region you would have warranty coverage in.

    If you don't live in Europe, you more than likely won't be able to get warranty support there.

  • Run a bunch of benchmarks and play a lot of heavy games. Heat has been the most common trigger factor for the "restart issue" so if your phone can handle benchmarks and games without restarting, then there is very little chance that it will appear later.
