In caller full screen you have the sms in the bottom. You need to swipe up (sometimes more than once)
If you're watching full screen youtube and get presented with the pop up caller notification, then you can click it in the white area to enter the full screen caller window. There you have the sms reply feature.
This caller screen is stock android and controlled by Google

just keep the sms option pressed it will pop-up more options..

I am using Google Phone and of course Google Contacts I am used to from previous devices with pure Android.
Unfortunately, Google Phone cannot be installed on the ZF6 from the Play Store, so I'm using the XDA version.
