I confirm as tested tonight, on. 138 firmware Android Auto doesn't work anymore as it can't see GPS position. Nice work Asus. 👍
+1, also having problems with Android Auto since last update.
Hi @Vasile Corneliu @erik.paladin
Thank you for reporting this. I will let our team know and will update you once I hear back. Thank you!
I hope this will ve given a higher priority, as it could literally endanger lives.
It can't lol because its unusable.
For me it works ok in the beginning, but then fails after a certain amount of time.
I drove 2h30 saturday and 2h30 yesterday running .138 update. Car is Megane 4.
After 30min or so, Google Maps lost position indeed (never happened before). I unplugged the USB cable, but no way to get Maps working again.
I switched to Waze with no issues the rest of the trip.
On the way back, I started with Waze, 0 issues, and after 1h drive, I switched to Maps, and during 1h30, no GPS lost. All went fine.
Dunno if it's Asus fault or Google having issues with maps recently.
Any news about this?
Actually today I insisted a little without hope. For me AA takes like 30-40 sec to finally get my position then I start the drive. It takes like 20 sec to see I'm on the road and give me directions. Then again to correct route it has the same lag, 10-20 sec. I hope Asus moderators find this useful.
Today AA update, all fine now, so it was Google not Asus fault.
I don't agree, I again lost GPS during a drive today.
I had a short drive, I'll test it in incooming longer drive, ty.
I had problems wit AndroidAuto again today
Hi everyone! We apologize for the delay in response, but after testing, we weren't able to replicate this issue. Can you all help us out by sharing a "location" log?
*If you are using Google Maps, please make sure that all Google-related apps are updated.
Once you are done with the log, please upload the link here and let us know what app you are using (ex: Google maps, Wyze etc).
Thank you for all your help!
